The meeting room at Enterprise House is booked for the third Thursday of the month (September 2024 to May 2025) at 19:30 until about 21:30. The meetings usually consist of a welcome chat, a talk/presentation with Q&A, a raffle (bring a prize) and then tea, coffee and biscuits.  Sometimes there is a special event such as an informal show.

Thursday 18 July

A summer outing to Culzean Castle, Maybole, has been arranged for Thursday the 18th of July. 

We will leave from Lenzie Rail Station at 9.30am and return from Culzean Castle at 4pm to arrive back to Lenzie for approximately 5.45.    

From initial enquiries It seems that we may have to go for a larger coach than we would ideally wish although I am exploring options in this regard. The trip will only go ahead if there is sufficient interest to make it viable.  In the past we have encouraged members to spread the word to friends and family to encourage them along in order to help spread the costs of hiring a bus.   In the past the cost for the bus has been £15 for members and £20 for non-members and we would wish to keep the transport costs around the same this year. 

There would be additional charges for admission to the gardens and the castle payable by non members of the National Trust for Scotland to the Trust as shown below:

Gardens only: adult £14, concession £10, gardens and castle: adult £20, concession £15.

There is a comprehensive cafe/restaurant located in the grounds of the Castle.
